European countries

Every day, people from all over the world visit Wink3r. Most of these users usually end their journey after completing the BDSM test. To allow them to fully utilize the platform, we decided to start mapping cities from other countries. Alongside Polish, Ukrainian, and German cities, we have now added locations from the remaining European countries to the location selector.

Dynamic image loading

Until now, images in the Feed and other sections were loaded dynamically on the screen-right as the user approached the area containing the file. Up to this point, we relied exclusively on the native feature controlled by the web browser. We have now introduced our own, fully customizable solution that loads images before they appear on the screen. This ensures a much smoother performance of the application.

Fewer external dependencies

We removed user interface libraries that the platform was no longer using (including a separate calendar library). The application now relies on significantly fewer external components. Reducing unused external code not only speeds up the platform but also decreases the number of potential code vulnerabilities (the so-called attack surface).

Faster initial page load

Public pages no longer immediately download modals, tooltips, or tools intended exclusively for logged-in users. These elements are now loaded dynamically only when needed. As a result, launching the platform for the first time requires downloading significantly less code.

Date of birth and ranking

The date of birth selection field during registration and profile editing, as well as the day, week, or month filtering in the ranking, now use the native calendar of your phone or computer. Selecting a year in the ranking is now done via a convenient dropdown list.

Distance display

The profile card and the chat header now display the distance in kilometers next to the city name (if location data is available). The format matches the one known from profiles and posts, e.g., Warszawa (20 km).

Fixes to blurred/hidden content

Clicking the "Show" button or the "Confirm you are 18+" link on blurred photos or text now correctly reveals the content. This action no longer triggers an accidental, simultaneous opening of the post or profile located underneath the protective layer.

Registration form improvements

During email verification, the button now displays a "Checking email..." message, and during profile creation, it shows "Registering...". Additionally, if a username, email, or password does not meet the requirements, the error message no longer disappears from the form, making it easier to correct the data.

Gallery, articles, and layout (UI) fixes

In the gallery, the description rating as well as the photo or video rating have been moved to the details section of the given item, right next to the publication date. Article titles on the blog have been shortened so that they always fit fully within search results. We have also fixed the footer links layout on tablets and aligned the interests section and counters (friends and followers) on profiles for wide screens.

On-Site Reports

The "Report" option is available on profiles, posts, comments, gallery photos, conversations, chat messages, and for users in the club. You cannot report your own content or the official Wink3r profile. Reporting directly from within the Wink3r Swingers Club game is only available to verified users.

When submitting a report, you must select a reason. For illegal content reports, a description of at least 20 characters is required. If the report concerns impersonation or a situation where someone was harmed, you must provide the Wink3r profile, a link, or attach a photo. Before submitting, you must confirm that the report is accurate and complete.

We automatically attach a screenshot of the specified content to every report. If taking the screenshot fails, you can upload a photo yourself. You can also attach up to three additional photos in PNG, JPEG, or WebP format (up to 4 MB each). After submitting a report, you can immediately block that profile.

Each report receives a unique case number. Submitting another report for the same content while a case is already open will not create a new report-in this situation, you can write directly to the administrator.

Guest Reports (For Users Without an Account)

The Contact page features a link to the report a violation form. The form requires an email address, a link to the reported content, a description of at least 20 characters, a photo of an ID document, and a confirmation that the report is accurate and complete. Once the report is accepted, we will display its reference number, and further correspondence will be handled via email. Logged-in users should report content directly within the service, and they can write directly to the administrator via the Contact tab.

Decisions, Appeals, and Complaints

The decision notification includes the case number, a screenshot of the reported content, and a link to the case page. The author of the reported content has 6 months to appeal the decision (along with a justification and the option to attach photos). If the appeal is accepted, the previously removed content will be reinstated. Within the same timeframe, the reporter (if they have an account) can file a complaint against the decision. If both an appeal and a complaint are received for the same case, we process each request separately.

Users without an account do not have access to view the case page. They can submit any appeals or complaints via the Contact form.

Frequently reporting content that does not violate the terms of service or the law may result in a warning. Continued misuse of this feature may lead to a temporary suspension of your ability to send reports and complaints for the period specified in the message.

To comply with the DSA, case records and a copy of the deleted content are stored for a period of 6 months (even if the account is subsequently deleted). You can find detailed information on this topic in the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Profiles and Search

Profiles that have not yet passed age verification (18+) are marked with a red "unverified" badge. It is visible on the profile card, on the main profile page, and next to the avatar picture.

In search results, descriptions marked as adult content are blurred by default-under the same rules as the rest of the site. Unblurring them depends on the user's age verification and their individual content filter settings. Descriptions that have not been classified as adult content are displayed as plain text.

Mobile Version and Comments

The mobile version of the site has gained smooth animations. Side panels, the comments section, and other sliding windows now close with a fluid motion, replacing the previous instant disappearance of elements.

Search

The search form no longer resets your input. The selected city (even if different from your profile default) is retained after clicking "Search", reopening the form, or refreshing the page. The username, description, and name also persist in their respective fields.

The name field in search now shares the same 30-character limit as the profile name. If you exceed this limit, a warning message will appear, and the search will be paused until the text is shortened. We also corrected the text of the corresponding validation message for usernames, which previously incorrectly referenced the user's name.

We fixed a bug that was crashing the search engine. You can now apply all available filters simultaneously and enter the maximum allowed characters for the description and username, and the search will execute successfully.

Menu

When taking quizzes or browsing the swingers club, the "Explore" option in the menu remains highlighted. This makes it instantly clear which section of the platform you are currently in.

Mobile Layout

The page header on mobile now remains locked in place when opening the comments panel. The message input field is no longer hidden and stays positioned directly above the on-screen keyboard.

Registration

Previously, when the operating system auto-filled the password field on iPhones, the password characters remained hidden after selecting the "Show password" option until you clicked outside the field area. Now, selecting "Show password" instantly reveals the entered string of characters on both iOS and Android.

Couple Profile

We cleaned up the name display layout in shared couple profiles. The labels assigned to partners' names are now positioned directly above the correct text fields and aligned horizontally. We also improved the formatting in the message author selection view-short names are now aesthetically left-aligned.

Protection Against Loss of Changes

We secured the profile editing process against accidental exits. If you modify data in the "Basic" or "Sexuality" tabs and try to leave the screen without saving, the system will display a confirmation prompt. You can either discard the changes or save them and proceed. If the save fails (e.g., due to connection issues), the form will remain open so that you don't lose the entered data.

Meet New People

We optimized the profile display in the side panel for desktop views and wide tablet screens. Extremely long usernames no longer break the card layout-they are now neatly shortened.

Logowanie

The sign-in screen had a few flaws that could force the user to wait longer. It has been stabilized and redirects to the appropriate page faster.

The reminder email for an unconfirmed account now includes a cancellation link. Clicking it deletes the account, blocks further reminders from being sent to that address, and immediately releases the username.

Listy i galeria

The page bar on long result lists no longer creates a new button for every page. Only the first and last pages are displayed, along with those in the immediate vicinity of your current position.

In the gallery, rating badges now feature clear descriptions. Each of them explicitly informs whether it refers to the caption or to the photo or video itself.

When you return to a previously viewed list during the same visit, you stay exactly in the same place where you stopped browsing.

Official Accounts

Fake profiles and channels impersonating the Wink3r brand have been appearing online. The only reliable source of information regarding our social media channels is the Profile Verification Center.

Always verify the exact URL or username (handle) against the information in our directory. Any account not listed there does not belong to us. The page also includes a list of platforms where Wink3r does not engage in any official activity (e.g., TikTok, Telegram, WhatsApp).

Content Rating and Moderation

The option to manually tag your name, bio, post, or photo as NSFW has been disabled. From now on, the administration will independently review and assign the appropriate rating after the content is published. If your content already had a moderation badge assigned, you will still see it while editing.

A profile name or display name that is pending review or has been classified as adult content may appear masked (••••••) to other users. The account owner will always see their name in its full form.

500 Winks for the trust

After a successful age check you come back to Wink3r and can claim 500 Winks. It is a one-time gift for confirming you are 18+. The dialog opens when you return from the provider. If you close it, a button stays on the verification page until you claim.

Winks still cannot be cashed out. Spend them as before - to reveal a profile visitor or promote a message.

When you want to leave

In Account settings, deletion starts with a short question about why you are leaving. Then you choose what happens next:

• Stay - nothing changes.
• Deactivate - the profile disappears from the platform, and the username waits for you.
• Delete permanently - the account and data go away under the Privacy Policy. This cannot be undone.

If the reason is too few people nearby, you can leave an email. We will write when more people of the genders you chose show up in your city. Consent is optional. You can withdraw it later by writing to support. This consent does not keep photos, chat, or the profile.

Missing profile and no access

Opening a profile that is gone shows that the user was deleted or never existed, instead of a generic 404.

The no-access page is more stable. A guest goes home. An ordinary account returns to the app. Deactivation and a hard ban have their own copy, without bouncing between pages.

Ukraine and Germany

Ukraine and Germany join Poland. Location search, profiles, and posts now show cities from those countries in the site language or original name.

City suggestions

If you are not signed in, an empty location field (for example during sign-up) shows the most popular cities from the country you visit from. We take the country from your IP address and remember it between visits, so it does not flicker between neighbours at the border.

Above the list there are flag buttons - Poland, Ukraine, Germany. A tap loads suggestions from that country. Once you start typing a name, search still runs across every country.

After you sign in, the country comes from the city saved on your profile. Changing city also refreshes nearby posts, so you do not keep seeing ads from the previous town.

Away badge

The Away badge (seen a moment ago, but not online now) uses darker, bold text on the yellow background.

City names

The location search and other sections of the website - such as posts, search results, and profiles - now display city names in the selected language. When selecting a location, if the English (or other) form differs from the original, the original name appears in parentheses, e.g., Warsaw (Warszawa). In the Polish interface, Warszawa naturally remains Warszawa.

Profile Viewers

The Profile Viewers section now uses the same pagination as other lists across the platform. This has improved its appearance and, in the case of long lists, fixed a bug where page numbers extended beyond the edge of the screen.

Back navigation to latest users or latest content

When you visit someone's profile and then return to the new users list or the latest content using the browser's "Back" button, the platform will remember the loaded cards and the spot where you left off. This helps you avoid reloading the content from the very top.

Post classifieds

Wink3r does not permit the publication of offers for commercial sex or escort services. If the algorithm detects such phrasing while you are writing a post, a subtle, non-blocking warning will appear on the screen. This does not mean your post is automatically rejected - if you are using these words in another, permitted context, you do not need to change anything.

All posts are moderated by us to ensure safety and protection against spam or inappropriate content. If the post raises no concerns, it will be approved just as before.

Wink3r remains free for everyone. Winks are an optional add-on designed to enhance the service. They do not replace the core service and do not act as a wall for users without a VIP account.

What Winks Are

Winks are an internal points system on your account. They are not money, a voucher, or something that can be cashed out or transferred to another user. They do not expire as long as your account exists.

Click on the number of Winks (in your profile data, the viewers section, or on an ad card in the Feed) to see a quick description within the app. The full legal text is available in the Terms of Service (§ 6).

How to Earn Them

• Watch video ads in the Feed and on unlock screens. Winks accumulate only during actual playback, in full seconds. Pausing, closing, or skipping an ad means you will not receive points for the unwatched portion. Restarting the same ad does not start the count from zero.
• Age verification is required to earn points from adult ads. Safe-for-work (SFW) ads may still appear, but they do not award Winks.
• Ads require marketing consent within the cookie banner. Without it, the player often will not populate the ad slot.
• In the Settings ➔ Preferences tab, you can select up to three ad categories. The order in which you select them is also the order in which we attempt to display them. A dedicated niche (e.g., gay, BDSM, MILF) allows you to earn more points than a general adult ad. Leaving the list empty means general ads from all categories will be shown.

The real-time score on a feed ad appears as +x next to the Winks icon. This number applies exclusively to the original playback of the video.

What You Can Spend Them On

The current cost of a feature is always displayed before you confirm the transaction. Costs may change over time, but your unspent Winks remain safely in your account.

• Instant Visitor Reveal - skip the ad and immediately check who viewed your profile.
• Message Promotion - pin a conversation straight to the top of the recipient's inbox with a highlight that remains until the user reads it.

Additional features may be introduced down the line. The free, core service will always remain free.

Accounts, Complaints, and Fair Use

• Account deactivation hides your profile and preserves your collected Winks. Account deletion (whether by you or by us) permanently erases your Winks. Points cannot be paid out.
• Missing Winks: message support with the exact time, a description of the situation, and screenshots if you have them. We keep transaction logs to easily verify the issue.
• We reserve the right to adjust balances if there is evidence of using bots, scripts, or other forms of abuse.

Conversations

You can hide a chat from your list without wiping it. The other person still has their copy. If someone sends a new message, the conversation shows up again with the history still there.

In the chat header, options (including hide) are in the menu. Tapping the profile photo only zooms it. It does not open the public profile at the same time.

Message bubbles

Tap a bubble (or long-press on a phone) for:

• Copy the text
• Info - when it was sent, and whether it was read
• Edit - your own text, for 15 minutes after it was sent
• Delete for everyone - both of you see a gray "deleted message" in its place

Pasting into the composer keeps plain text only.

Posts and comments

The same 15-minute window applies to posts and comments. After that, Edit is gone. Delete still works.

If a post caption breaks the terms, moderators can remove the text and leave the image or video. You will get a notification explaining that, and that you can write to admin if anything is unclear.

Swingers club chat is still a room chat. Age-verified members see a message for 10 minutes, then it leaves the chat.

To answer law-enforcement requests and DSA duties, we keep a server copy for 30 days. That copy does not return to the game. Only administrators can review it. After 30 days it deletes itself.

Wink3r remains an adults-only community. That has not changed.

Public content

Pornographic content is allowed in public posts and galleries, not only in private albums. Users without a verified age see it blurred. When verification is required, an unverified person cannot reveal it. Until that requirement is in place, a notice may say verification will be needed soon - you can still reveal the content with one tap. After a successful 18+ check with Ageefy or AgeVerif, the media is shown unblurred. You can change that in Settings - Preferences.

Media waiting for admin approval is blurred the same way by default until a moderator marks it safe (SFW).

Profile pictures are the exception: they must stay fully clean. Avatars with pornographic or unsafe content are rejected - they are not blurred and not moved to private galleries.

Photos (and later videos) must present the profile owner. Drawings or other graphics of you are allowed. Landscapes, empty screenshots, and other shots that do not show you will be rejected. Any material involving minors is strictly forbidden. Illegal content is forbidden as well. AI-generated profiles or fake accounts impersonating real people will also be removed.

A username (the name on the profile) becomes public only after it is approved as safe. You can mark your post, photo, description, or name as adult yourself - you cannot undo that on your own.

The profile as a calling card stays visible to people without a verified age: the name (if it is safe), the description, and the avatar. Only adult content and sexual data are hidden.

Age verification

In Settings - Age verification you can confirm you are 18+ with Ageefy or AgeVerif. This is a technical age check, not a payment and not identity authorization.

• Ageefy - free selfie and/or document check, run on secure servers in Switzerland.
• AgeVerif - methods adapted to your country: FaceAge (face scan on your phone), PayPal, a ticket, a quick 3-D Secure card check, or AnonymAGE (EU digital identity wallet - not available in Poland).

The check is handled by a third-party provider. We do not store face photos, ID scans, card numbers, or personal data from the document. Even verifying with an ID will not put your real name on your Wink3r profile.

The 18+ checkbox on the welcome page stays. It is still a self-declaration, not formal proof of age with a document.

Chat, comments, club

When the age-verification requirement is on:

• Private messages (1:1 chat) - only for people who confirmed they are 18+.
• Comments on posts and in galleries - the same (the count stays visible; the thread and the ability to add new comments are hidden).
• Swingers club chat - guests and unverified people see an info message instead of the conversation window, and only an ellipsis ... above characters. The club map itself stays visible.

The sexuality tab on someone else's profile, and editing that kind of data on your own, stay hidden until you confirm your age (if verification is required). If the user has not filled in that section, the tab is not shown at all.

In the swingers club cloakroom, dialogues with Janek and Zosia are available in Polish and English and have a milder tone. Other players' coats are shown correctly on their characters after you join the map.

Home page and removed features

The "Be one of the first Wink3rs" panel on the home page and landing pages is replaced by a description of an adults-only platform: safe 1:1 chat, full anonymity, and the available verification methods.

We are not introducing age verification via BLIK / HotPay - cards and PayPal are handled directly by AgeVerif, not as a separate payment to Wink3r.

We are retiring the old photo-based identity check (the form in profile data and the "verified photo" badge). That method was not proof of age.

We are removing comments under blog articles, including guest comments confirmed by email. The posts stay public, without a discussion section or a form. Old activation links from email will no longer publish anything.

The Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy have been updated. Third-party provider names are in the privacy policy, not in the main terms.

Wink3r swingers club, BDSM test, and Gay test in the user menu

Following the launch of the Wink3r swingers club, we noticed that its visibility - as well as that of other publicly available tools - was minimal for current users. Therefore, we have created a new section in the menu called Explore, where you can find direct links to these three features.

Changes to Wink3r's external visibility

The introduced changes include the metadata of Wink3r's public pages. These have been technically unified, and we have modified their content to describe the subpage content in a more accessible and precise manner. This metadata determines the text displayed in search engines and, for example, when sharing a link to Wink3r in messengers such as Messenger, Signal, or WhatsApp. This change does not affect daily portal usage in any way.

Fixes and improvements

We fixed the display of long profile names both in the Data tab and on the public profile.
We have once again optimized the display of the badge tooltip in desktop browsers. To avoid further issues resulting from differences between operating systems, we introduced separate solutions for computers and mobile devices. Furthermore, the "Online" badge now has dark green text, making it easier to distinguish from the "winker" (friend) badge.
Additionally, logging out of Wink3r using the button on the landing page will take the user back to that same page, instead of redirecting to the portal's main homepage.

Wink3r Swingers Club

We have launched a brand new, interactive, and publicly accessible subpage: Wink3r Swingers Club. This is a virtual counterpart to a physical swingers club, featuring a venue map complete with a cloakroom, bar, and dancefloor.

The primary purpose of this experience is to serve as an engaging guide to a real swingers club. Newcomers can learn more about the rules, etiquette, and atmosphere expected in a real-life venue. However, this is not the virtual club's only purpose.

The game allows for several world interactions, such as grabbing a drink or dancing on the floor. Thanks to its open chat setup, it mainly functions as a free messenger for both Wink3r users and guests. All messages are temporary, visible to everyone currently in the club, and disappear after 10 minutes.

Registered users can view profiles of other members, while guests will only see usernames and a generic placeholder avatar.

The virtual swingers club is 100% free, runs smoothly in any mobile or desktop browser, and requires no prior registration or login.

Additional Changes

We fixed the badge preview tooltip on iOS (e.g., "online 5m ago"). Tapping it will now properly open detailed information regarding the user's last login time on iOS devices. The second fix concerned the profile home page with a very long username - it now does not move the screen beyond the right edge of the screen.

We have replaced the descriptive text sections on the /swingers landing page with a direct link to the digital Wink3r club. The previous elements were cluttered and served merely as a wall of unnecessary text.

Until now, the messages dropdown list only showed unread conversations. This forced users to navigate to the full messages panel every single time. From now on, it will always display the 10 most recent conversations for better, more convenient access.

Public photos on Wink3r are tempting, but they do not show porn. When setting a profile picture, creating a public post, or uploading to a gallery with a photo, a brief reminder of these rules will now appear. Pornographic content from users remains welcome in private galleries.

Additionally, profile pictures are always public, so they cannot be "moved to private." If a photo is removed by an administrator, the user will receive a friendlier message reminding them of the rules, rather than a generic "terms of service violated" notification.

also, fixed the right sidebar on the desktop version. It now consistently displays the 30 most recently logged-in profiles that have a profile picture. Furthermore, added Wink3r Announcements, which serve as special notifications from the administration to all users.

Thanks to Google Search statistics, we noticed that many people from Warsaw and the surrounding area find us through blog posts related to Warsaw. Warsaw is one of the places with a large number of potential Wink3r users. We therefore took a few small steps to increase our visibility and make it easier to find all articles related to the capital.

We added a "Warsaw" landing page that, as usual, includes a short description of Wink3r, a preview of several posts themed around the city, and a complementary element: a mini-game of creating a profile that shows some of the benefits of Wink3r. A matching "Warsaw" blog category was also created.

Wink3r wants to appear where its potential users already are. You can therefore expect more landing pages like this in the future. They do not affect how the portal works for people who are already registered.

Along the way we also fixed a few technical things that are mainly seen by machines from the outside, such as Googlebot (Google's crawler that scans the internet). Changing the page language while reading an article now redirects immediately to the correct address. Manually changing the language in the page URL also leads to the correct article link, with the appropriate HTTP 308 (Permanent Redirect).
What is this about?
wink3r.com/pl/blog/bdsm-dla-poczatkujacych and wink3r.com/en/blog/bdsm-for-beginners-2026 are the same article in two language versions. Until now Google also treated mixes such as wink3r.com/en/blog/bdsm-dla-poczatkujacych as a separate address. From today it can forget about those.

We also made a small change to links that go straight to registration, such as the "Register" button on the About us page. Machines such as Googlebot will see wink3r.com/pl instead of wink3r.com/pl?reg=true - a link with a parameter that opens the registration window. This too is a technical change, about how search engines and other machines see Wink3r.

You can now track how Wink3r is changing - new features, fixes, and important product changes are now available on this page.
